ARX/ARX2 Hybrid version 1.0

As many of you know, I’m a sucker for a killer ab/core routine. I like finding them and I like making them. Last night, after I wrapped up with Back & Bicep at the gym here at Hallmark, I got down on my mat for some Ab Ripper X, but ended up tweaking it slightly as I went. I subbed out some ARX moves for some ARX2 moves with some pretty wicked results! As you all know, muscle confusion is key to progress, [Continue...]

Workout During Recovery? Good idea or bad idea? I say, “Fantastic idea.”

All I know is this guy kept pushing play. You should too. This morning I had the pleasure of doing Day 65 of P90X, but I was pretty scared to do so. In that light, I’ [Continue...]

#P90X Day 45: Half. Way. There.

Tony Horton is in decent shape. Sort of. I guess... What a workout to have on the day where I get to say, “I’M HALF WAY THROUGH P90X!” Back & Bicep continues to be, what I honestly think, is the most difficult P90X Classic workout. Though your back gets worked to pieces, your biceps are really where the action happens. All back movement works the biceps here and adding all the wicked curls t [Continue...]

#P90X Day 43: Quivering Muscles Everywhere

Yesterday afternoon I was hit with the sad news that a family friend had passed away suddenly. It was a sad moment and, as I rushed away from work to be with my wife and her family, I was fully prepared to just take a day off from P90X and be the support that I knew I might need to be. And glad to do so. However, it turns out I had some free time on my hands last night and I thought, “What better way to get m [Continue...]
