#P90X Day 25: X Stretch

X-Stretch: I'm so much more flexible than this girl. Like, totally.
With my left hamstring still sore, this stretch was a godsend. I really focused on my breathing, just like Tony & Co encourage. It felt good to recognize how I am actually becoming more limber in some areas, like my arms and my back. I’m able to bend in ways that I wasn’t able to in the recent past, and that’s progress people.
Makes me happy.
Anyhow, the series of hamstring stretches was something that was worrying me, but I persevered and got to a point where my left hammy started to relax into the stretch and loosen up. Really hope that w/ one more of these on the docket for recovery week I’ll be able to fully heal the leg before the beginning of Phase 2.
Not much else to say today. Feeling optimistic about Week 5. A little anxious to get started. I always feel that if I’m not working out hard that I’m not doing anything beneficial, which I know isn’t true. I just wrestle with doing passive things in fitness – like stretching.
